Marketing + Communications

As the sole Marketing + Communications specialist at Creative BC, I work across the organization serving all marketing and communication strategy and function, reporting to the Director of Business Operations. 

In this role, I had the unique responsibility of introducing the organization's first marketing and communication strategy, developing all tactics, processes, systems, and modernizing key messages and how we communicate. This new role was created to optimize Creative BC’s marketing and communications processes, systems and platforms to boldly support strategic priorities and deftly improve the effectiveness of the organization’s capacity for monitoring, aggregating, generating, and brokering creative industries knowledge across its internal and external channels. 

Key responsibilities: 

⋅ Development of the organization’s first integrated marketing comms strategy, tactics, processes, templates, toolkits, key messages, media relations
⋅ Transformation and management of the organization’s online presence throughout all digital channels
⋅ Development and design of all marketing + comms materials for online + print, design systems
⋅ Organize and manage the organization’s intranets + internal communications
⋅ Manage all digital assets: websites, newsletter, social media, media monitoring, Google Analytics
⋅ Optimize and streamline all communications + marketing processes for the organization

⋅ Design, project management and deployment of new website, brand refresh (Jan ’22 launch)
